Hills, MN

Hills is a small town located in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. Hills is located in the Twin Cities metropolitan area and is bordered by Robbinsdale to the north, Maple Grove to the east, Eden Prairie to the south, and Minnetonka to the west.

The history of Hills can be traced back to 1856 when two brothers from Denmark settled on a farm near what would become downtown Hills. The town grew slowly until after World War II when veterans returning home sought new homes and businesses began to spring up. In 1961, Hills became an incorporated city with a population of just over 1,000 people. Today, Hills remains a small town with a close-knit community feel.
