Asbury, NJ

Asbury is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Asbury was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on April 10, 1894, from portions of Freehold Township. The borough had a population of 21,851 at the 2010 census.

The Borough of Asbury is located in southwestern Monmouth County and occupies most of the eastern half of Freehold Township. It borders Eatontown to the north and west; Middletown Township to the east; and Long Branch to the south. The borough's eastern border follows Route 35 (the Garden State Parkway) through Eatontown before turning eastward along Asbury Park Boulevard into Long Branch proper.
