Brewton, AL

Brewton is a small town located in Baldwin County, Alabama. The population was 10,811 as of the 2010 census. Brewton is home to the Baldwin County Fairgrounds and the Baldwin County Airport. The town is also home to several businesses including a Walmart, a KFC, and several restaurants.

Brewton has been in existence since 1892 and was originally known as "Baldwin City". The town was renamed after General James Brewton who fought in the American Civil War. General Brewton was killed at the Battle of Franklin in Tennessee on November 30, 1864.

Brewton is located in southeastern Baldwin County at 33°3′N 87°53′W / 33.060°N 87.972°W / 33.060; -87.972 (33.062,-87.992). According to the U.S Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , all land。
