Bee Branch, AR

Bee Branch is a small town located in Garland County, Arkansas. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Garland County.

The town was founded in 1871 and named for a nearby stream called Bee Branch. The Bee Branch post office opened in 1872 and closed in 1902. The town's economy was based on agriculture until the early 1990s, when it began to experience growth due to its proximity to Little Rock and Fort Smith. Today, Bee Branch is home to several businesses including a Walmart Supercenter, restaurants, a bank, and a hospital.
