Guy, AR

Guy is a small town located in the Ouachita Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. The population was 2,827 at the 2010 census. Guy is known for its natural beauty and history, as well as its thriving real estate market.

The first settlers in Guy arrived in 1836. The town was founded by Elijah Hicks and James Pritchard, who were looking for a place to raise cattle. The town quickly grew and by 1852 had a population of 350 people. In 1870, the railroad came to Guy and the town began to grow rapidly. By 1880, the population had reached 1,000 people and by 1890 it had reached 2,500 people.

Today, Guy is still a small town but it has seen tremendous growth over the past few decades due to its strong real estate market. There are currently over 10,000 homes and condos for sale in Guy alone! This growth has led to new businesses opening up in the area including restaurants, shops, and banks. Additionally, there have been several new construction projects completed in recent years including apartments and condos.

One of the biggest benefits of living in Guy is its close proximity to both Little Rock and Tulsa. Both cities are only about an hour away from Guy which makes them very convenient for residents and tourists alike. Additionally, there are plenty of recreational opportunities available in nearby towns such as Hot Springs National Park or Conway Mountain Resort Ski Area.
