Lakeview, AR

Lakeview is a small town located in the northeast corner of Arkansas. The population was just over 1,000 in the 2010 census. The town is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Conway, which provides recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.

The history of Lakeview can be traced back to 1884 when it was founded as a railroad stop. At that time, the town consisted of just a few buildings and a few hundred residents. In 1906, Lake Conway was created as a reservoir by the United States Army Corps of Engineers and development began to rapidly grow around it. By 1929, Lakeview had become an incorporated city with a population of over 2,000.

Today, Lakeview is still an agricultural community but has seen significant growth in recent years due to its proximity to Little Rock and other major metropolitan areas. The city has developed several businesses and industries that support its economy including tourism, real estate services, manufacturing and agriculture.

Real estate in Lakeview is dominated by single-family homes although there are also some apartments and condos available for purchase or rent. Prices for homes range from around $100K to well over $1 million depending on size and location within the city limits. There are also several commercial properties available for sale or lease including office space, retail stores and industrial complexes.
