Summit is a small town located in the Arkansas Ozarks. The population of Summit was just over 2,000 in 2010. The town was founded in 1881 and is named after the summit of Mount Summit, which is located just outside of town. The economy of Summit is based largely on agriculture and tourism.

Real estate in Summit is dominated by single-family homes and condos. There are also a few commercial properties available, but they are generally limited to small businesses that serve the local community. The average price for a home in Summit was $130,000 in 2016.
