Buellton is a small town located in Santa Barbara County, California. The population was 10,898 at the 2010 census. Buellton is known for its wine country and its many wineries. It is also known for its real estate market, which has seen a significant increase in prices over the past few years.

The history of Buellton dates back to 1881 when the railroad came through the area. A small town began to form and by 1884 it had a post office and a population of about 100 people. The average price per bottle of wine sold has increased from $7 to $25 over the past few years which has led to an increase in property values throughout Buellton.
