Hathaway Pines, CA

Hathaway Pines is a small town located in the San Gabriel Mountains, about an hour east of Los Angeles. The town was founded in the 1920s by a group of wealthy Pasadena families who wanted to escape the city. At its peak, Hathaway Pines had a population of over 2,000 people. However, due to the recession and subsequent housing crisis, the population has steadily declined over the years. Today, there are only around 300 residents left in Hathaway Pines.

Real estate in Hathaway Pines is dominated by single-family homes and condos. The majority of homes are built on large lots and feature stunning views of the mountains or Pasadena below. Homes in Hathaway Pines typically sell for around $1 million or more. There is also a small number of commercial properties available for sale, but they tend to be much more expensive than residential properties.

Hathaway Pines is a very peaceful town with few major attractions nearby. However, it is only about an hour from downtown Los Angeles and there are plenty of things to do in that area if you want to explore them. Additionally, there are several golf courses within close proximity that would be perfect for a day out on the green.
