Mountain Ranch, CA

Mountain Ranch is a small town located in the San Bernardino Mountains, just east of Palm Springs. The town was founded in the early 1900s by a group of Mormon pioneers who were looking for a place to settle. At its peak, Mountain Ranch had a population of over 2,000 people. However, today the population is much smaller and there are only about 1,000 residents left.

The main economic activity in Mountain Ranch is real estate. There are several large homes and estates located in the town, as well as many small businesses that focus on real estate sales and rentals. Despite being such a popular destination, there have been some concerns raised about how rapidly development has been happening in Mountain Ranch over recent years. Many people feel that this rapid growth has led to increased traffic congestion and decreased quality of life for residents who live near busy roads and commercial areas. It will be interesting to see how things change as development continues apace in Mountain ranch – if things get worse then perhaps more people will start calling for stricter regulations on real estate development activities
