Scotts Valley is a city located in Santa Clara County, California. The population was 34,893 at the 2010 census. Scotts Valley is known for its lush green hills and valleys, as well as its expensive real estate. The city is also home to several prestigious universities, including Stanford University and the University of California, Davis.

The history of real estate in Scotts Valley can be traced back to 1881 when land was first subdivided in the area. At that time, the town consisted of just a few homes and businesses.
