Interlachen, FL

Interlachen is a small town located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The population of Interlachen was just over 2,000 as of the 2010 census. The town is located on the eastern edge of Lake Worth and is bordered by Loxahatchee to the north, Boynton Beach to the east, Boca Raton to the south, and Delray Beach to the west.

The history of Interlachen can be traced back to 1892 when Henry Flagler built a railroad line through what is now Interlachen. At that time, it was known as Flagler Station. In 1926, Interlachen became an incorporated town and was renamed for its founder, John W. "Jack" Intrater.

Today, Interlachen is home to many businesses and attractions including a golf course ( Interlachen Country Club), a tennis club ( Interlachen Tennis Club), a marina ( Lake Worth Marina), several restaurants and cafes, two shopping centers (Interlace Town Center and The Shops at Lake Worth Village), an ice rink ( Lake Worth Ice Arena), a park (Intrater Park), and several churches.
