Palm Beach Gardens is a city located in Palm Beach County, Florida. As of the 2010 census, the population was 33,827. The city is bordered by West Palm Beach to the north and east, Lake Worth to the south and west, and Boca Raton to the southwest.

The city was founded in 1905 by Henry Morrison Flagler as a winter resort for wealthy New Yorkers. It became an incorporated municipality in 1923. The city's name is derived from Palm Beach County's largest palm-lined boulevard, Worth Avenue (formerly named Atlantic Avenue), which runs through downtown from north to south.
