Country Club Hills, IL

Country Club Hills is a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. The population was 28,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of Cook County.

The area that now comprises Country Club Hills was first settled in the 1830s by farmers and merchants who were drawn to its rolling hills and fertile soil. In 1892, the Chicago Heights Railroad opened a line through the area, providing access to downtown Chicago. The town of Country Club Hills was officially incorporated on February 8, 1905.

In 1907, Jens Jensen opened what would become one of Country Club Hills' most iconic businesses - Jensen's Department Store. The store quickly became a major player in the community and helped to shape its character as a shopping destination for locals and visitors alike. Over the years, other notable businesses have established roots in Country Club Hills including Sears Roebuck & Co., Kmart Corporation, and Macy's Department Store.

Today, Country Club Hills remains an affluent suburb with a strong retail presence that continues to attract new businesses and residents alike. Its many amenities - from world-renowned golf courses to championship tennis facilities - make it an ideal place to live, work, and raise a family.
