Crown Point is a city located in Lake County, Indiana. The population was 34,848 at the 2010 census. Crown Point is the county seat of Lake County.

The city was founded in 1836 and named for General William Henry Harrison's victory at the Battle of Tippecanoe. The city's economy is based on manufacturing, health care, and government services.
