Macy, IN

Macy is a small town located in the heart of Indiana. The population is just over 2,000 people and there are only a handful of businesses in the town. The biggest business in Macy is the Macy General Store which has been around since 1853. The store is currently owned by the family of the original owner and they continue to run it as a small business.

The main source of income for Macy residents comes from real estate. There are a few homes that are worth more than $1 million and there are also a lot of homes that are worth between $50,000 and $100,000. The majority of homes in Macy sell for between $50,000 and $75,000.

There is not much else to do in Macy other than shop at the General Store or go for a walk around town. However, because there are so few businesses in town, residents have developed close relationships with each other which makes life feel more like community than city.
