Westpoint, IN

Westpoint is a small town located in Wayne County, Indiana. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. The town was founded in 1837 and is named after General James Wilkinson, who fought in the American Revolution. Westpoint is home to the West Point Cemetery, which contains the graves of many of Indiana's early settlers.

The economy of Westpoint is based largely on agriculture and manufacturing. The town has a small commercial district that includes a grocery store, gas station, bank, and post office. There are also several restaurants and businesses located in the town center.
