Douds, IA

Real estate in Douds, IA is a hot commodity. The town has seen an influx of people in recent years, and with that comes a need for more housing. There are currently several projects in the works that will add to the available housing stock.

One project is a new development called Crossroads at Douds. It will consist of 24 single-family homes and 12 townhomes. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2018 and be completed by early 2020.

Another project underway is the redevelopment of the former Kmart property into apartments and retail space. The development is expected to be completed by late 2020 or early 2021.

Finally, there are plans for a new mixed-use development on the site of the old Douds High School. This project is still in its preliminary stages, but it could include up to 200 residential units, 20,000 square feet of retail space, and 10 acres of parkland.
