Kamarar is a small town located in Cherokee County, Iowa. The population was just over 1,000 as of the 2010 census. Kamrar is a farming community that has seen its share of change over the years. In the early 1900s, Kamrar was known for its large apple orchards. Today, the town is more commonly known for its real estate market.
