Powderly, KY

Powderly is a small town in Kentucky that has seen its fair share of real estate boom and bust. The town was founded in 1892, and at its peak, it had over 1,000 residents. However, by the early 2000s, the population had dwindled to just under 200 people.

In 2006, the town saw a real estate boom when developers began to build new homes and businesses. This led to an increase in the population from around 200 people to over 500 people within a few years. However, by 2010, the real estate market had crashed and the population had decreased back down to around 200 people.

Today, Powderly is seeing a resurgence in real estate activity as more and more people are looking for rural properties that are close to major cities but still have plenty of space. There are currently about 100 homes for sale in Powderly, and there has been an increase of about 20% in sales volume since 2016.
