Sharon Grove, KY

Sharon Grove is a small town located in Campbell County, Kentucky. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Sharon Grove is home to many businesses and attractions that make it a desirable place to live and work.

The history of Sharon Grove can be traced back to the early 1800s when settlers began moving into the area. The first settler in Sharon Grove was James Hogg who built a cabin on what is now known as Hogg Hill. By 1827, there were enough people living in the area to form a township called Sharon Grove. In 1881, the town was incorporated and it has since grown steadily.

Today, Sharon Grove is home to many businesses and attractions that make it a desirable place to live and work. Some of these businesses include: an Ace Hardware store; two restaurants (The Bluegrass Grill & Tavern and The Village Inn); two banks (The First National Bank of Sharon Grove and The Campbell County National Bank); an auto dealership (Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep/Ram); two gas stations (Pilot Travel Centers and Speedway); a post office; three churches (First Presbyterian Church, Second Baptist Church, and Grace Bible Fellowship Church), as well as several other small businesses. Additionally, Sharon Grove is home to several parks including: Hogg Hill Park; Veterans Memorial Park; Gentry Park; Litton Park; Miller Park; Dixie Downs Race Track; as well as numerous recreational facilities such as: baseball fields; basketball courts; football fields; horseshoe pits; playgrounds; tennis courts etc.

One of the most important aspects of life in Sharon Grove is its strong community spirit which has been nurtured over the years by its residents. This community spirit has helped support many local organizations such as: Kiwanis Club of Campbell County Chapter #547 ; Lions Club International ; American Legion Post #569 ; Jaycees Club #1073 ; Boy Scouts Troop #4232 ; Girl Scouts Troop #4231 etc., which have contributed significantly to making life in Sharon Grove enjoyable for everyone involved. Additionally, residents are very active in supporting various events that take place throughout the year such as: Christmas parade ; Fourth of July parade ; Harvest festival ; Valentine's Day fair etc., which create an atmosphere of celebration that helps strengthen ties between residents throughout the community
