Church Hill, MD

Church Hill is a historic district in the city of Baltimore, Maryland. The district is bounded by North Avenue on the north, East Lexington Street on the east, West Lexington Street on the south, and North Charles Street on the west. It includes much of what was once Baltimore's fashionable residential section north of Federal Hill. The area has been home to many notable families and individuals including Francis Scott Key, James McHenry, and Samuel Clemens.

The Church Hill Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It includes 1,812 contributing buildings and 2 contributing sites.
