Kensington, MD

Kensington is a historic district in the northwest section of Baltimore, Maryland. The area was originally settled by the English in the early 18th century and was known as "the Englishtowns". Kensington is bounded by North Avenue on the north, York Road on the east, West Virginia Avenue on the south, and Pennsylvania Avenue on the west. The population of Kensington was 10,898 at the 2010 census.

Kensington has long been a desirable location to live in due to its close proximity to downtown Baltimore and its many amenities. Today, Kensington remains one of Baltimore's most popular neighborhoods with families and young professionals alike. There are many great places to eat and shop in Kensington as well as numerous parks and recreation facilities nearby.
