Hinsdale, MA

Hinsdale is a town in western Massachusetts, United States. The population was 21,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield, Massachusetts metropolitan area.

The town was first settled in 1761 by Ebenezer and John Hinsdale, who were among the earliest settlers of Western Massachusetts. The town was incorporated in 1853 and named for Ebenezer Hinsdale, one of its founders.
