Milford, MA

Milford is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 21,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Boston metropolitan area.

The town was first settled in 1639 as part of Charlestown. In 1775, during the American Revolution, Milford was occupied by British troops and remained under their control until 1779. After the war ended, Milford became an important center for textile manufacturing and later served as a major railroad hub.

Today, Milford is home to many historic landmarks and businesses including The New England Aquarium (the world's largest aquarium), Gillette Stadium (home of the NFL's New England Patriots), and Fenway Park (home of the Boston Red Sox). Additionally, Milford is known for its annual Pumpkin Festival which attracts over 100,000 visitors each year.
