Tewksbury is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 19,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Greater Boston metropolitan area.

The town was first settled in 1637 as part of Chelmsford and was formally incorporated in 1713. Tewksbury is known for its colonial architecture and for its many well-preserved 18th century homes.
