Falmouth is a small town located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The population is just over 2,000 people and it has a very small downtown area. The majority of the businesses are located on US-23, which runs through the center of town. Falmouth is primarily an agricultural community, with a few small businesses that cater to tourists. There is only one major employer in town, and that's the local school district. Real estate in Falmouth is not particularly expensive, but it does not have a lot of amenities either. The main reason people live in Falmouth is because it's close to US-23 and there are no other good options for housing nearby.
