Osseo, MI

Osseo is a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with a population of just over 2,000 people. Osseo is located in the heart of the Keweenaw Peninsula and has access to many natural resources, including forests, lakes, and rivers. The town was founded in 1881 and was originally known as " Osseo Junction." Osseo's economy is based largely on its agricultural industry, which includes dairy farming and fruit orchards. However, since the 1990s Osseo has experienced a rapid growth in its real estate market due to its proximity to major cities such as Marquette and Houghton Lake.
