Plymouth, MI

Plymouth is a city located in the south-central region of the state of Michigan. The population was 17,848 at the 2010 census. Plymouth is part of the Grand Rapids metropolitan area and is bordered by Walker to the north, Ionia to the east, Kentwood to the south, and Wyoming to the west.

The city's economy is based on manufacturing, health care, education and tourism. Plymouth has been designated as a Tree City USA since 1984 and was named one of America's "Best Small Towns" by Forbes in 2007. The city has also been recognized for its downtown revitalization efforts which have resulted in an increase in retail businesses and new residential development.

Real estate in Plymouth is dominated by single-family homes with a small number of apartments/condos available for purchase or rent. There are also a limited number of commercial properties available for lease or sale including office space, restaurants and retail stores.
