Cannon Falls, MN

Cannon Falls is a small town located in southern Minnesota. The population of Cannon Falls was 10,853 as of the 2010 census. The town is located in Cannon Falls Township, Hennepin County.

The history of Cannon Falls can be traced back to 1858 when the first settler, James McLeod, arrived in the area. In 1881, a post office was established and the town began to grow. In 1902, Cannon Falls became incorporated and by 1910 it had a population of 1,000 people.

Today, Cannon Falls is a thriving community with many businesses and attractions. The economy is based on agriculture (mainly dairy farming), manufacturing (including machinery and equipment), and tourism. There are several restaurants and shops in the town center as well as several parks that offer recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike.

Real estate in Cannon Falls is dominated by single-family homes with modest acreage requirements. Many homes were built during the early 1900s when there was little development outside of the small townships that made up Minnesota at that time. Today, many of these homes are still standing but have been updated or replaced with newer construction since they were originally built. There are also a number of apartments available for rent in Cannon Falls as well as condos and vacation rentals for those who want to stay close to town but have more space than what typically comes standard in an apartment building
