Crosby is a town located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 2,811 at the 2010 census. Crosby is located within the Minneapolis– Saint Paul metropolitan area.

The first settlers arrived in what is now Crosby in 1851. The town was named for Charles Crosby, a railroad official. The town's early economy was based on agriculture and lumber production. In the late 19th century, Crosby became known as a center of furniture manufacturing. In recent years, the town has developed into a bedroom community for people working in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
