Duluth, MN

Duluth is a city located in the U.S. state of Minnesota and the county seat of Saint Louis County. Duluth has a population of about 61,000 people. The city is located on Lake Superior and is adjacent to the Canadian province of Ontario. Duluth was named for John Jacob Astor, one of the first American millionaires.

The economy of Duluth is based on tourism, manufacturing, health care, education, and retail trade. The largest employers in the city are General Mills and UnitedHealth Group. Duluth has a diversified economy with strengths in both service-oriented industries and manufacturing.
