Frazee is a small town located in southern Minnesota. The population of Frazee was 2,824 as of the 2010 census. The town is located in Blue Earth County and is bordered by the city of Mankato to the north, Faribault to the east, and Willmar to the south.

The history of Frazee can be traced back to 1856 when settlers arrived in what would become known as Frazee Township. At that time, the area was part of Crow Wing County. In 1871, a post office was established and named after James W. Frazee, an early settler and landowner in the area. In 1888, a railroad line was built through Frazee Township and it became an important transportation hub for farmers in southern Minnesota.

Today, Frazee is home to several businesses including a grocery store, gas station, bank branch, clinic, barbershop/beauty salon and two churches - Lutheran Church (Eagle Lake) and United Methodist Church ( Frazee). The town also has a public library which is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
