Windom is a small town located in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census. Windom is home to the Windom Area Historical Society Museum and the Windom Area Historical Museum Library.

The first settlers arrived in Windom in 1855. The town was founded by George A. Smith and named for his hometown of Windham, New Hampshire.
