Belle, MO

Belle is a small town in St. Louis County, Missouri, with a population of just over 2,000 people. It is located about 10 miles west of downtown St. Louis and is part of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Belle was founded in 1854 and was originally known as " Bellefontaine." The town's name was changed to Belle in 1872 in honor of Princess Belle of Wales, who had recently visited the United States.
