Milan, Missouri is a small town located in the southeast corner of the state. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Milan was founded in 1871 and named for Milan, Italy. The town is located on U.S. Route 61 and Interstate 70, about halfway between Kansas City and St. Louis.
