Trenton, MO

Trenton is a city located in the U.S. state of Missouri and is the county seat of Mercer County. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 33,814. Trenton is home to Trenton State University and was formerly home to Trenton College. The city's economy is based on its position as a regional transportation hub, with Interstate 70 running through its center and access to major highways leading north to St. Louis and south to Memphis and Atlanta. The city also has a significant manufacturing sector, including aircraft parts manufacturer Boeing Co., which employs more than 2,000 people in Trenton; automotive parts manufacturer Lear Corp.; and medical device maker Stryker Corp., which has an operations center in nearby Eureka Springs.
