Macy, NE

Macy is a small town in Nebraska with a population of just over 1,000 people. It is located in the northeast corner of the state, just off Interstate 80 and close to the Kansas border. The town was founded in 1879 and named for Macy's department store in New York City.

Today, Macy is a small town with a Main Street that has been restored to its original appearance. There are several businesses on Main Street including a bank, grocery store, gas station, barbershop, and two churches. The town also has two parks - one with an outdoor pool and playground - and a public library.

The main industry in Macy is agriculture. However, there are also several businesses that provide services to the agricultural community such as feed stores, seed companies, ag equipment dealerships, and grain elevators. There is also a small industrial park located near the edge of town that houses several businesses that provide goods and services to farmers and ranchers throughout Nebraska.
