Sparks, Nevada is a town located in the eastern part of the Las Vegas Valley. The population was estimated at just over 24,000 people in 2013. Sparks is known for its casinos and resorts as well as its real estate market.

The real estate market in Sparks has seen steady growth over the past few years. In 2012, there were 1,814 homes sold in Sparks. This number increased to 2,912 homes sold in 2013 and 3,527 homes sold in 2014. The median sale price for homes sold in Sparks during this time period was $269,000.

One reason for the increase in home sales is that there are a number of new developments underway that will bring more people to the town. These developments include The Springs at Green Valley Ranch and The Springs at Silverado Ranch which are both scheduled to open later this year. Additionally, there are plans to build a new hotel and casino called Red Rock Resort which is expected to open by 2020.
