Alloway, NJ

Alloway is a small town located in Morris County, New Jersey. The population was 1,851 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Morristown, NJ Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The town was founded in 1793 by John and Elizabeth Alloway as a farming community on the banks of the Mullica River. The area was known for its fertile soil and abundant water supply. In 1875, Alloway became an incorporated municipality with a population of 1,500 people.
