Harrington Park is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 10,921,[10] reflecting an increase of 724 (+5.4%) from the 10,292 counted in the 2000 Census,[19] which had in turn increased by 1,873 (+14.7%) from the 8,890 counted in the 1990 Census.[20]

The borough was formed on April 15, 1894,[21] from portions of Harrington Township.[22][23][24][25] The borough was named for James Harrington (1656-1715), an American political philosopher and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.[26][27][28]

According to the United States Census Bureau, Harrington Park has a total area of 2.2 square miles (5.7 km2), all land.[29]
