Wood Ridge is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 9,898,[1] reflecting an increase of 514 (+5.3%) from the 8,711 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 1,836 (+15.2%) from the 7,246 counted in the 1990 Census.[4]
The borough is home to many well-known businesses and organizations such as The Journal News (which owns The Record),[5] IBM,[6] and IKEA.[7][8][9][10] Wood Ridge also has a large concentration of Orthodox Jewish families.[11][12][13]
Wood Ridge was incorporated as a borough on April 10, 1898,[14] from portions of Saddle River Township.[15][16][17] The Borough Hall is located at 4 Main Street.
