Dunkirk, NY

Dunkirk is a small town located in the northeast corner of New York State. The population was 10,821 at the 2010 census. Dunkirk is best known as the location of the United States Army's Fort Drum, which has been active since 1798 and is one of the oldest military installations in America. Dunkirk also has a long history as a center for fishing and maritime commerce.
