Irvington, NY

Irvington is a small town located in Westchester County, New York. The population of Irvington was 10,813 as of the 2010 census. It is part of the White Plains– Wayne Center– Middletown, NY Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Irvington has a long history dating back to the 17th century when Dutch and English settlers began to arrive in the area. The town was first settled by farmers and merchants who were attracted to its fertile soil and location near major transportation routes. In 1892, Irvington became home to one of the country's first shopping malls, which helped spur its growth into a commercial center. Today, Irvington is home to many businesses and institutions, including several hospitals and schools.

Real estate in Irvington is dominated by single-family homes and apartments. The majority of these homes are either traditional brick or wood-frame structures with modest size yards.
