Bucyrus is a small city located in Lucas County, Ohio. The population was 10,829 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Toledo Metropolitan Area.

The city was founded in 1825 by Ebenezer Bucyrus and named for him. Bucyrus is known as the "Buckeye Capital of the World." The city's economy is based on agriculture, manufacturing, and services.
