Apollo, PA

Apollo is a borough in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2010 census.

The borough was founded in 1812 and named for Apollo 11, the first manned mission to land on the moon. The borough's economy is based on tourism and agriculture. It is home to the Apollo Mill Complex, which includes a gristmill and sawmill that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
