Glenshaw is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Glenshaw is located in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh and is bordered by Wilkinsburg to the north, Baldwin to the east, Clairton to the south and Springdale to the west.
The borough was settled in 1812 by John and James Glenshaw who were early settlers of western Pennsylvania. The borough's name commemorates these pioneers. Glenshaw became an incorporated borough on March 3, 1884.
Glenshaw is home to many businesses including a hospital ( Penn Presbyterian Medical Center), a post office (since 1902), two churches (First Presbyterian Church and Christ Episcopal Church), two schools (Glenwood Elementary School and Glenshaw High School) as well as several small businesses. The borough also has a public library which opened in 2001.
The main commercial thoroughfare through Glenshaw is Lincoln Highway which runs east-west through the center of town. Other major roads include Forbes Avenue which runs north-south and intersects Lincoln Highway near its eastern edge; and Ardmore Boulevard which runs parallel to Forbes Avenue but crosses it at an angle just west of town center.

As of 2000, there were no housing units available for purchase within the borough limits; however there are several housing developments located outside of town limits that can be accessed via Ardmore Boulevard or Forbes Avenue.
There are no public transportation options available within Glenshaw Borough limits; however buses run regularly along Lincoln Highway serving nearby municipalities including Baldwin Borough, Wilkinsburg Borough and Clairton Borough
