Leesport is a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,812 at the 2010 census. It is part of the West Chester Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The borough was founded in 1798 and named for General James Lees, who fought in the American Revolution. The borough's original boundaries included what are now parts of West Whiteland Township and East Whiteland Township. In 1854, Leesport annexed land from East Whiteland Township and from West Whiteland Township it annexed land that became known as "The Point". In 1872, the borough annexed all of East Whiteland Township and most of West Whiteland Township to form its present borders.
