New Park is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area.

The borough was founded in 1872 and named for its location in New Park Township. The borough's first settler was James Cavanaugh who arrived in 1871 from Ireland. He built a cabin on what is now known as Cavanaugh Hill Road and started farming the land. By 1880, there were twenty-five families living in New Park Township and the borough had been incorporated as a municipality with a population of 200 people.

In 1890, the Pennsylvania Railroad built a line through New Park and businesses began to develop along its tracks. This led to an increase in population and by 1900, the borough had 1,500 residents. In 1910, there were 3,000 people living in New Park Borough and it became known as one of the most prosperous municipalities in Allegheny County.

During World War II, many men from New Park enlisted in the military to fight in Europe and Asia. As a result of their service, many new homes were built for returning veterans after World War II ended.

Today, New Park remains an economically diverse community with businesses that include restaurants, banks, pharmacies and hardware stores. The borough also has two churches - Saint John Neumann Catholic Church and First Presbyterian Church - as well as two public schools: East Allegheny Middle School and West Allegheny High School
