Plymouth Meeting is a town in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 10,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.

The town was founded in 1740 and named after Plymouth, Devon, England. The first settler in Plymouth Meeting was Nicholas Longworth who built a mill on the Schuylkill River. The town's economy was based on mills and agriculture until the late 19th century when it became a center for banking and insurance. In 1892 Plymouth Meeting became home to the world's first professional football team, the Philadelphians (later renamed the Eagles).
